Twelve of Williwaw's Girls on The Run Girls participated in our practice 5K to prepare them for the 5k Celebration on November 10th. The girls ran 12 laps around Williwaw Elementary. Each and every girl completed their practice 5K with smiles and celebration of completing a difficult task.
Then on November 10th, nine of our twelve Girls on the Run girls from Williwaw Elementary participated in the Girls on The Run 5K celebration. The girls ran their 5K around Baxter Bog with many family members and staff members supporting as running buddies or cheering from the sidelines. Way to go, girls!
