Safety

Many serious accidents are often due to inappropriate conduct in crowded places. Running in the halls, pushing and shoving are not permitted and may be subject to disciplinary actions including suspension. 

 

For the safety of all students, those students acting in an unsafe manner may be withdrawn from high-risk classes such as labs, machinery shops, and physical education.

 

To anonymously report any unsafe behavior please see any adult in the building and specifically seek out anyone from West High administration or security. Additionally, students have access to the StopIt app, an anonymous reporting tool. More information StopIt is available here. 

 

Students and staff are also asked to help maintain the safety and security of West High School by not propping doors open or letting anyone in the building through any entrances besides the main doors during school hours. Doing so will result in disciplinary actions to include suspensions.
