• We are so excited to bring back our Elementary Running Club for Grades K-5! 

     
    Join Polaris teachers/coaches, Andrew, Allie, Austin, Greg, Heidi, Kyla, Marie, and Mindi for this fun, accessible, and team-oriented introduction to cross-country running.  The culminating event will be Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê's South Area Elementary Cross Country Running Jamboree at Service High School on Thursday, September 28.

    Practices are on Mondays, Tuesday, Fridays from 3:10-3:50 PM, September 5 - 26, 2023.  Registration is $30 and should be paid through (ELEMENTARY RUNNING CLUB).  Please contact any of our coaches or Samantha Bucher (bucher_samantha@asdk12.org) in the front office to apply for a fee waiver.

    • 3:00-3:10 - Meet in the gym; gear up & snack

    • 3:10-3:15 - Stretch & Warm Up

    • 3:15-3:30 - Running Practice & Drills

    • 3:30-3:35 - Cool Down

    • 3:35-3:50 - Group Game

    • 3:50 - Parent Pick-Up

     

    What to Bring

     

    • Change of running clothes (optional)

    • Running shoes

    • Healthy, light snack

    • Water bottle
