The Alaska Native Cultural Charter School was founded in 2007 by members of the Anchorage community. Our Mission is to build student excellence through traditional cultural learning. We are a Title 1 public charter school within the Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê. We offer a rigorous academic program with a curriculum focused on Alaska Native values developing academic achievement and social and emotional learning growth. Enrollment is open to all students in the Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê through a lottery system providing an equal opportunity for all students regardless of race, gender, learning ability, or economic status. We will continue to register students until we have met our enrollment cap. When the cap is met we maintain an ongoing wait list.

    Enrollment Information

Families applying to the Alaska Native Cultural Charter School for their child/ren, in grades K-8, must complete the online application for enrollment. Computers are available at school for families without an internet connection. Preschool has a separate process, please contact the preschool teacher for information.

A lottery system is used to provide an equal opportunity for all students who request participation in one of the Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê's programs or schools other than the assigned District program or school and to provide grade level and gender balance. No student shall be denied participation because of a learning disability, handicapping condition, or special need.
