Choice

• Students can be enrolled as full-time or part- time
• Both elective and core classes are available in additon to and/or in lieu of face to face courses

Flexibility

• Teachers provide flexible office hours via Zoom to build positive relationships, provide additional support, and opportunities for students/families to ask questions.
• Classes are asynchronous and follow the traditional semester pacing schedule, but assignments due dates have a two-week grace period without a late point deduction to accommodate flexibility. 

Connection

• Participate in sports, activities, and programs
• Receive communication from neighborhood/choice school
• Engage with virtual teachers to support online learning.
• Access to collaborative support between the virtual teacher and school staff 
• Access to academic planning and graduation support

Knowledge

• Course offerings aligned to learning standards
• Courses meet graduation requirements
• Core courses meet NCAA requirements for student athletes
  • Tests are proctored to follow NCAA guidelines
  • Families should discuss course selection with their guidance counselor to confirm which courses meet NCAA requirements.
