Remote Learning Days for King Tech and AMCS Students

King Tech and AMCS Remote Learning PlanThe following information outlines the educational plan for King Tech and AMCS if there are weather-related closure days this school year. Unless otherwise noted, snow/ice closure days will be declared remote learning days for Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê schools.

AMCS Students: If Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê Schools are closed and the UAA Campus is open, then you must plan to attend your UAA classes. If Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê schools are open, and the UAA Campus is closed, then you must plan to attend classes at Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê schools.

 King Tech and AMCS teacher expectations on remote learning days: 

  • King Tech and AMCS Teachers will post an assignment for each class by 8:00am on the morning of the closure day(s).
    • Assignments can include building on previously assigned content or providing an original assignment for the day.
  • King Tech and AMCS teachers will host Zoom office hours from 9:00am-10:00am and 1:00pm-2:00pm.
    • Zoom links will be posted in the teacher’s Canvas course.
    • Students are not required to attend office hours, but teachers will be available to answer questions, clarify expectations, and provide support for students.

King Tech 3rd Session Remote Learning PlanThe following information outlines the educational plan for King Tech 3rdSession if there are weather-related closure days this school year. Unless otherwise noted, snow/ice closure days will be declared remote learning days for Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê schools.

 

King Tech 3rd Session teacher expectations on remote learning days:

  • King Tech and AMCS Teachers will post an assignment for each class by 3:00pm of the closure day(s).
    • Assignments can include building on previously assigned content or providing an original assignment for the day.
    • King Tech teachers will host Zoom office hours from 4:10pm-5:00pm. 
    • Zoom links will be posted in the teacher’s Canvas course.
    • Students are not required to attend office hours, but teachers will be available to answer questions, clarify expectations, and provide support for students.

Students have been reminded of the procedures/expectations and if there are any questions please reach out to the teacher.
