Students will be introduced to various career paths through didactic and laboratory settings, facilitated by College of Health faculty and professional staff. The programmatic exposure offered through the UAA/Clark Junior Health Professions Pre Medial Academy will stress the importance of science and mathematics to a successful healthcare practitioner. Students will explore dentistry, medical assisting, laboratory technician careers, CPR, emergency medicine, and radiology. The program will culminate with academy participants hosting a Health Fair to showcase their knowledge.
