• Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê School-Based Services Medicaid Program


    The Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê participates in the Alaska Medicaid School-based Services Program (SBS Medicaid). This program allows school districts to receive partial reimbursement from Medicaid for qualifying health and related services provided to Medicaid-eligible students. Examples of Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê services that may be eligible for Medicaid reimbursement include occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language, hearing services, nursing services, and mental and behavioral health services.

  • Parent/Guardian Permission Required


    If your child receives any SBS Medicaid-eligible services and qualifies for Medicaid benefits at any time during the school year, Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê must have your consent before using your child's Medicaid insurance information to receive Medicaid reimbursement. Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê's Medicaid Consent documents can be viewed or downloaded from the Annual Written Notification and Medicaid Consent page.
