Maintenance Grounds Department

CIT

The Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê Grounds Department was responsible for the snow plowing, sanding, and removal at all Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê facilities and support buildings during a winter of record-breaking snowfall which we regularly referred to here at the District as “Snow-mageddon.” This team of roughly 20 employees worked hundreds of hours throughout the nights and sacrificed their weekends to get our schools ready for learning.

If students and staff cannot safely access their place of work, then the Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê is not providing a safe environment for students to learn. This team deploys to clear roughly 300 acres of parking lots, driveways, and fire lanes.
